Lindsay Davenport of the St. Louis Aces will be unable to play in the World TeamTennis Pro League this summer. Davenport, who is pregnant, was placed under travel and activity restrictions by her doctor today. Davenport was scheduled to play her first WTT match last night in Newport Beach, Calif, and then travel with the Aces to New York to face the Sportimes on Monday July 11.

Lindsay said on her Twitter account, "The @stlouisaces are like family to me and I wish them luck. Hope to help them in future. For now will just focus on my health and family."

Following up on that, Aces President Dani Apted-Schlottman said, “Lindsay is like family to us so her family and health are what is most important.”
