Great Britain’s Andy Murray has maintained course for another victory after a defeat of Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 to move on to the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Masters. Murray has already taken titles in both Bangkok and Tokyo, and has swept through this tournament so far in hopes of a third straight victory.

David Ferrer has also advanced into the quarters after defeating Spaniard Juan Carlos Ferrero 1-6, 7-5, 6-2. Murray has been undefeated since he lost to Rafael Nadal in the 2011 U.S. Open Men’s Singles semifinals. He will go onto face either Gilles Simon of France or Australian Matthew Ebden in the quarters.

Ferrero is going to be going up against American Andy Roddick who defeated Nicolas Almagro in the round of 16, 6-3, 6-4.
