The 2012 College Tennis Showcase will be held Sunday, Nov. 11 at the Saw Mill Club, located 77 Kensico Drive in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. Among those scheduled to appear is Eric Butorac, a professional tennis player and doubles specialist who has won 13 pro titles, having been ranked as high as ninth in the world in doubles. Butorac, who reached the quarterfinals in men’s doubles at the Australian Open this year, has served as a volunteer assistant men’s tennis coach at Harvard University since 2010.

The College Tennis Showcase is an event to help players learn more about the college tennis process and connect better with college coaches including the USTA Eastern Tournament for high school seniors and the Eastern College Tennis Showcase for high school juniors. For college coaches, this event is an opportunity to recruit and get exposure for their tennis programs.

Butorac grew up in Rochester, Minn., where he played high school tennis and competed in national USTA tournaments. He went on to play tennis at Ball State University (Division I), and Gustavus Adolphus College (Division III), and win the NCAA Championships in singles and doubles in 2003.

Butorac serves as vice president of the ATP Player Council, and for the past four years, has played for the Boston Lobsters of World TeamTennis.
