The top-ranked doubles team of Bob & Mike Bryan recorded their 15th consecutive ATP World Tour victory on Wednesday at the Fayez Sarofim & Company U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship over Australians Matthew Ebden & Samuel Groth 6-2, 3-6, 12-10 to advance to the semifinals in Houston. The Bryans await the winner of the match between the Indian duo of Purav Raja & Divij Sharan and the Aussie duo of Lleyton Hewitt & Chris Guccione to determine their semifinal opponents.

After splitting sets, the Bryans fell behind 5-0 in the match tie-break before rallying for the win. It is the 15th consecutive win in 2014 for the Bryans, who have won 21 of their last 22 matches in Houston. The Bryans are seeking their fifth title in Houston, having hoisted the trophy in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Long Island’s Scott Lipsky, seeded third in the men’s doubles draw with Santiago Gonzalez, lost on Wednesday to the team of Raja & Sharan, 7-5, 6-2.
