Taste of Tennis Returns to Miami

Taste of Tennis announced that Citi is the title sponsor of Taste of Tennis Miami and will take place on Monday, March 20, 2017 and kicks off the two weeks of tennis excitement in Miami at the Whisper Lounge, located on the 50th floor at W Miami on Brickell Avenue.

“We are thrilled to welcome Citi as the Title Sponsor of the Citi Taste of Tennis Miami! Thanks to their support, our new venue W Miami in Brickell and our partnership with Wellness in the Schools, this year’s event promises to be better than ever,” said Judi Lerner, president of AYS.

The action-packed evening will feature signature cuisine prepared by top chefs paired with some of the world’s best tennis players. Guests will enjoy up close and personal interaction with their favorite athletes and chefs and an array of amazing cocktails, music and interactive sponsor experiences. Past participants include Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Mike and Bob Bryan, John Isner and many others.

Will Howle, Citi’s head of retail banking, will also be in town for the event.

“From our sponsorships of Citi Bike, Wynwood Walls, City of Miami Beach and the New World Symphony to our newly transformed Bayfront Citigold Center, opening soon, Miami is a very important market for us,” he said.

A portion of the proceeds from the event this year will benefit Wellness in the Schools, which inspires healthy eating, environmental awareness, and fitness as a way of life for kids in public schools.

Executive Chef Bill Telepan from Wellness in the Schools added: “When I learned of our partnership with Taste of Tennis, I couldn’t think of a more perfect pairing! Good eating!
