The West Side Tennis Club Foundation (WSTC) has announced it will be hosting a 125th anniversary celebration of the foundating of the West Side Tennis Club.

To celebrate this milestone in the club's rich history, the event, which commences at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, will include tennis on grass, an exhibition match in the famed Forest Hills Stadium at 4:30 p.m., along with a cocktail party and sunset dinner.

Commemorative banners will be raised honoring Grand Slam Champion Maureen (Little Mo) Connolly (represented by her daughters), and U.S. Nationals Singles and Doubles Champion and Davis Cup Champion Jack Kramer (represented by his son). A special banner will also be raised in remembrance of the Davis Cup Challenge (Final) Rounds played in Forest Hills’ Historic Stadium.

You can visit www.wstcfoundation.org for details and a special offer to play on the famed grass courts if you are able to participate in the celebrations. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets for this unique event are available.

Proceeds of the Stadium Party will go to the WSTC Foundation, a 501(c) 3 Charitable Organization, to help the Foundation fulfill its mission of supporting tennis for the youth and physically challenged, and the preservation of tennis history and the establishment of a tennis library and archives.
