Beacon Beats Bronx Science in PSAL Finals Rematch

Beacon and Bronx Science met in a rematch of last year’s PSAL New York City “A” Division Championship on Tuesday afternoon.

Once again, it was Beacon who came out on top, this time with a 5-0 sweep.

The defending city singles champion, Ethan Leon, helped lead the way with an 8-6 win over Jonah Jurick.

Donovan Brown and Felix Levine paired up to win a thrilling match at second doubles as the two beat Alexander Goldstein and Christian Bobko 9-8.

Beacon improves to 7-0 on the year, while Bronx Science drops to 5-1.
