8th Annual BNP Paribas Showdown at Madison Square Garden

The 8th annual BNP Paribas Showdown is set for Tuesday, March 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The exhibition features Monica Seles taking on Gabriela Sabatini while Roger Federer battles Grigor Dimitrov.

The first match between Seles and Sabatini is a rematch 25 years in the making. The two played a five-set thriller at the 1990 Virginia Slims Championships at Madison Square Garden where the 16-year old Seles came out victorious, becoming the youngest player ever to do so.

Following the Seles-Sabatini clash, Federer will take on Dimitrov, who is known as "Baby Fed". Arguabally the greatest player of all-time, Federer carries the most Grand Slams ever, 17, and is currently ranked second in the world. Dimitrov is a rising star on the tour and is currently ranked 11th in the world.
