Defending NYC Champions Bronx Science Beat Eleanor Roosevelt In Season Opener

The defending PSAL champions Bronx Science kicked off its fall season on Tuesday afternoon, picking up right where they left off with a 5-0 victory over Eleanor Roosevelt to win its season opener.

The three-headed monster that makes up the Bronx Science singles lineup did its thing to lead the Wolverines to the win. At first singles, Perene Wang knocked off Sheyna Karen 10-4 to lead the way, and Christina Huynh and Sofie Levine won their second and third singles matches 10-0, respectively.

The two doubles tandems each won their match 10-3 to complete the Bronx Science sweep.

The Wolverines will travel to take on the High School of American Studies at Lehman College on Wednesday.
