WTA number one-ranked Caroline Wozniacki has hired Ricardo Sanchez as her new coach. Sanchez will replace her father, Piotr Wozniacki, who supposedly "wanted to get a little bit of time off the court."

Sanchez’s first goal with Wozniacki will be to have her win the Australian Open in January. Wozniacki is yet to win a Grand Slam tournament. Wozniacki suggested that it was her father’s recommendation to hire Sanchez. The elder Wozniacki has been criticized for having his daughter play in too many tournaments throughout the year.
