Robin Soderling has announced his withdrawal from next month’s Paris Masters due to illness. The sixth-ranked Swede has suffered from mononucleosis which has resulted in absence since last July. This withdrawal will ruin his chances of being able to compete in the ATP Tour Finals which will be held in London in November.

Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci, ranked 36th in the world, has replaced Soderling’s position in the Paris draw. This Masters tournament will show who else will qualify for the season conclusion in London which will take place Nov. 7-13.
