Last night, some of the area's top local businesses squared off on the court in the finals of the Metro Corporate Tennis League's 2013 Winter Season at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club. In the Advanced Division (NTRP rating 4.5+), the Bloomberg team of Vighnesh Venkatesan, Zvi Lantsberg, Robin Chu, Catherine Reed, Blair Brzeski and Philip Boroff swept Goldman Sachs in the finals by a score of 36-14 to take the trophy. Ernst & Young was able to retain their title as reigning Advanced Intermediate champions with a win over Credit Agricole. Players competed on-court, but win or lose, after the match, they all relaxed in the lobby with drinks and food.

New York Tennis Magazine would like to congratulate the winners of the Metro Corporate Tennis League Winter 2013 Advanced & Advanced Intermediate divisions. We would also like to thank Pam Glick for putting together such a wonderful evening at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club for both the participants and spectators.
