United Sports Publications (USP), publisher of New York Tennis Magazine, Long Island Tennis Magazine and various multimedia tennis properties serving the New York metropolitan area, has announced that the Second Annual New York Tennis Expo will take place Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. This free, family-friendly event will be open to attendees of all ages and returns with significant enhancements following the inaugural New York Tennis Expo in 2013 that drew in excess of 3,000 attendees.

Anyone interested in the “Sport of a Lifetime,” from the casual fan and sports enthusiast, to avid recreational and aspiring collegiate tennis players, to fans of the pro game, will find something for them at the 2014 New York Tennis Expo.

As with the 2013 New York Tennis Expo, tennis enthusiasts and their families can expect to enjoy topical discussions and interactive presentations headlined by world-renowned tennis coach and recent International Tennis Hall of Fame inductee, Nick Bollettieri.  Our expansive “Activity Zone” will include 10 & Under Tennis, a Speed Serve Booth, Fitness Obstacle Course, “Beat the Pro” featuring college players, a “Hit for Prizes” court, and much more.

New for the 2014 Expo, an expanded “Kids Zone” will feature a parent-child area with face-painting, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, and games with fun prizes along with a new viewing area providing a bird’s eye view of all the on-court activities and demonstrations. For those interested in the best tennis products and services, the “Exhibitor Zone” will be expanded to two floors, and will again showcase leading tennis clubs, summer camps, tennis teaching professionals, training techniques, manufacturers, experts in the field of sports medicine, retailers, training facilities, health food and energy drinks, and tennis travel destinations, among others. Additionally, our new “Collegiate Zone” exhibiting area will feature representatives from top college programs to aid parents and prospective players in their research and education process as they search for the ideal school.

Another addition to the 2014 New York Tennis Expo is the United Sports Publications Broadcast Plaza, an on-site media hub where New York and Long Island Tennis Magazine will create official Expo editorial content, including reports from the show floor, video interviews with speakers and exhibitors, as well as segments for the first-ever Tennis Talk New York radio show, the newest media component in USP’s platform, intended to serve both consumers and business partners.

The Second Annual New York Tennis Expo offers local, regional and national businesses and professionals the opportunity to expose their products and services to the ever-important New York market and thousands of engaged tennis enthusiasts. By leveraging participation in this unique event, companies associated with the sport can showcase their products and services in a concentrated one-day, one-stop location.

With the 2013 New York Tennis Expo selling out completely, a limited number of exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2014 New York Tennis Expo.
