Brooklyn Tech Downs Midwood To Stay Perfect

The Brooklyn Technical Engineers improved to 11-0 on the season on Tuesday afternoon, moving past Midwood 5-0 in a Brooklyn “A” Division showdown.

Senior Philip Raytburg improved to 7-3 in singles on the year, defeating Midwood’s Jonathan Glinsky 8-0 in the top singles flight. Bojidar Todorov followed up that win with a 8-1 triumph over Jacob Chernov at second singles.

Denis Korol rounded out the singles flights with an 8-4 win over Jason Klinov at third singles, giving Brooklyn Tech the wins it needed for the victory.

Alex Huynh and Lawrence Shoykhet beat Allan Krasner and Phillip Khoroshko 8-4 at first doubles and Calvin Desole and Jaysen Altman beat Joseph Dwan and Kastriot Veliu 8-1 at second doubles to complete the Engineers’ shutout.
