The Townsend Harris Hawks and Cardozo Lady Judges each won their match on Friday to stay unbeaten and remain atop the New York City A1 standings.

Townsend Harris took on Francis Lewis and was led by its singles play, notching a 4-1 win to improve to 3-0 on the season. Liana Weitzman knocked off Alleyah Ally 10-3 in the first singles flight, while Rachel Zhang knocked off Rachel Chin in the second singles match.

Francis Lewis would get on the board as Jasmin Vargas and Shir Levy won at second doubles, but it was not enough as the Hawks would win the third singles and first doubles matches to secure the victory.

Cardozo improved to 2-0 on the season with a 5-0 triumph over Springfield Gardens on Friday afternoon. Katherine Kachkarov led the way with a 10-1 win over McKenzee Cummings at first singles, and the rest of the Cardozo lineup followed suit, winning all five matches to notch the victory.
