By now, most tennis fans know about the promised date that Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard had with a Twitter fan after the New England Patriots completed its comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl.

The two finally got together last night as Bouchard flew in John Goehrke to New York, who attends the University of Missouri, and the two sat courtside at the Barclay's Center for the Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets basketball game.

With the Falcons leading the Patriots 28-3 in Super Bowl LI a couple of weeks ago, Goehrke asked Bouchard that if the Patriots were to come back and win that the two would go on a date.

Bouchard responded: “Sure”

Of course, the Patriots did complete the comeback to win the franchise’s fifth super bowl.

Bouchard stood by her word and the two were able to go on the date last night.

No word yet on if the Goehrke earned himself a second date.
