Beacon, Stuyvesant Notch Big Wins on Wednesday

The Stuyvesant Hitmen moved to 4-1 on the season, knocking off the High School of American Studies 5-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

Nicholas Pustilnik notched a 10-6 win over Lucas Suhl at first singles and Derek Lung won 10-3 over Jeremy Shemesh at second singles to lead the way for Stuyvesant. Michael Kaydin chipped in a 10-5 win over Jacob Gottesfeld at third singles as Stuyvesant won all five courts.

Beacon continued to roll to maintain its lead over Stuyvesant in the standings, beating Bronx Science 5-0.
