Novak Djokovic secured the final spot in the Wimbledon quarterfinals on Tuesday, rolling past France’s Adrian Mannarino 6-2, 7-6(5), 6-4 in a match that was postponed from Monday.

Djokovic came out firing early, breaking Mannarino in the Frenchman’s opening service game on his way to taking the opening set in 37 minutes.

He would break again to open up the second and built a 4-1 advantage. But Mannarino dug into the match to win three straight games to even the set up at 4-4, and the set would head into a tiebreaker. The Serb squeezed out the tiebreaker 7-5 to open up a two-sets-to-love lead.

Another early break for Djokovic allowed him to seize control of the third set and he would never relinquish the lead, serving out the set to close out the straight-sets win in two hours and 13 minutes.

In the quarterfinals, Djokovic will play Tomas Berdych, who outlasted Dominic Thiem on Monday.

Djokovic is 25-2 all-time against Berdych.

“He’s been around for many years, and established top 10 player, understands the occasion of playing big matches,” said Djokovic of Berdych. “I’m trying to play my best.”
