Novak Djokovic powered past Kei Nishikori, coming back from a set down, to reach the semifinals of the Italian Open in Rome.

Djokovic came back to win 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 and set up a semifinal clash with world number one Rafael Nadal.

The Spaniard had to come back from a set down in his quarterfinal showdown on Thursday. He took out Italy’s Fabio Fognini 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 to book his spot in the final four.

Nadal and Djokovic will square off for the 51st time in their careers. The two haven’t played since Madrid last year.

Marin Cilic was the first to reach the Rome semifinals, as he took out Pablo Carreno-Busta 6-3, 6-3 earlier in the day. He takes on the winner of Alexander Zverev and David Goffin.
