Queens College women’s tennis head coach Alan Nagel was named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Coach of the Year for the second season in a row.

Nagel has now won the award 12 times, including four times in the last five years. He led the Knights to a 9-0 record overall and 7-0 in ECC play, notching the first regular season title since 2012 and earning the top seed in the conference tournament.

Along with Nagel, four other Queens College players were honored by the ECC on Wednesday. Junior Reehan Rashad, sophomore Louisa Brunetti and junior Laura Ortega checked in on the All-ECC First Team and senior captain Emy Alplund made the All-ECC Second Team.
