The USTA has stepped up with $50 million to support the tennis industry and it could not have come at a better time as most in the industry are feeling the strain.

This is both an act of generosity and a wise investment because it will help the industry thrive once more.  A good portion of these monies will be at the discretion of each USTA Section to distribute as all have profound needs, and it will not be easy to decide which worthy organizations participate.

In our area, I hope we include support for the publication which brings us together and serves us daily online, monthly in our clubs and yearly at a unique event with information, wisdom, recognition and enthusiasm.

The loss of this resource because its impact and importance are undervalued would be more than sad.

It would diminish us all.
