Azarenka Pulls Out of Italy With Shoulder Injury

World number one-ranked Victoria Azarenka was forced to withdraw from the 2012 Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome, Italy after sustaining a right shoulder injury. She easily defeated Shahar Peer in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2, prior to pulling out of the tournament. With just 10 days remaining until the second Grand Slam of 2012, the French Open, Azarenka is taking all precautionary measures in hopes of a second Grand Slam title.
