Unseeded 15-year-old wild card Tornado Alicia Black of Boca Raton, Fla. became the third straight American to reach the U.S. Open girls singles final and the fourth in the past six years, following her 7-5, 6-3, victory over the seventh-seeded Antonia Lottner of Germany in Saturday’s semifinals. The previous three–Samantha Crawford (2012), Grace Min (2011) and CoCo Vandweghe (2008)–all won the U.S. Open junior title. She will meet Ana Konjuh, the second seed, in Sunday’s Girls Junior finals.

Also in junior play, it was the team of 18-year-old Martin Redlicki of Hawthorn Woods, Ill. & Poland’s Kamil Majchrza who won the U.S. Open Boys Doubles Title on Saturday over France’s Quentin Halys & Portugal’s Frederico Ferreira Silva, 6-3, 6-4.
