Centercourt Athletic Club Acquires Sixth New Jersey Location
Centercourt Athletic Club (CAC) has announced that it is now the owner of Centercourt of Florham Park (formerly Columbia Racquet Club) located at 299 Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park, N.J. The club has six climate-controlled indoor hard courts. To insure the facility meets the high standards of Centercourt, immediate improvements are in the process of being made, including: New energy efficient and increased visibility lighting, court resurfacing, and a modern lobby complete with new furniture and an entertainment system.
“With the addition of Centercourt of Florham Park, we will be able to better serve the tennis community and the demand for our junior and adult programming,” said Clay Bibbee, president and CEO of CAC. “Our investments in new lighting, court resurfacing and a new lobby will be complete by the time the club re-opens on June 16.”
Centercourt Florham Park becomes the sixth tennis facility under the Centercourt umbrella, joining other CAC locations in Chatham, Long Hill, Marlboro, Morristown and Mt. Olive, N.J. These facilities have a total of 54 courts with most clubs also offering fitness training. Centercourt of Florham Park is located within five miles of Centercourt locations in Chatham and Morristown, N.J.
