High School Recap: Stuyvesant Boys and Bronx Science Girls Remain Undefeated

The high school tennis season continued on Monday, following a snowy and rainy weekend that put a halt to a number of contests. A number of teams were in action on Monday afternoon, including the Stuyvesant boy’s team and Bronx Science girl’s team, both of whom won their respective matches and remained undefeated on the young season.

 

 

 

 

Boys
Stuyvesant notched a 5-0 victory over the High School of American Studies. The Hitmen swept all five matches, and were led by Leonard Margolis, who defeated Harrison Smart 8-2 at first singles.

Girls
The Bronx Science girls moved to 2-0 on the season with a 4-1 win over Hunter College High School. Led by Brianna Williams, Sarah Rahman and Sofie Levine in singles play, Bronx Science won all three of the singles legs and coasted to its second victory of the season.
