Cardozo Beats Townsend Harris To Remain Undefeated

The Benjamin Cardozo Judges improved to 3-0 on the spring season, handing Townsend Harris its first defeat with a 4-1 victory on Monday.

Cardozo was led by its singles play as it notched wins in all three singles flights, anchored by Kay Yuminga’s 10-4 win over Maxin Prohorov in the top spot. Maxwell Kachkarov defeated Abhinav Garg 10-0 at second singles and Christopher Tham beat Justin Chen 10-1 at third singles to round out the wins.

Townsend Harris would win at first doubles as Nicolas Oltean and Noah Pearlstein beat Matthew Chu and William Kofman 10-3.

Cardozo’s David Song and Ethan Khaldarov beat Jason Bacalla and Justin Butron 10-0 at second doubles to round out the scoring.
