City Parks Tennis’ Lacoste Junior Tennis Academy Returns in 2019

The youth of New York City will once again this summer have the chance to learn and showcase their tennis skills.
CityParks Tennis is bringing back the Lacoste Junior Tennis Academy, the free training program for advanced junior tennis players ages eight through 17. The academy provides free coaching practice time and tournament sponsorships to dedicated junior layers in New York City.
In addition, the program includes:
Free tournament-training sessions at Flushing Meadows Corona Park and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
Tournament entry fee sponsorship at select USTA sanctioned events
Free travel expenses to select national junior tournaments for ranked players
Specialized clinics
College scholarship counseling
City Parks Foundation will be hosting tryouts for the academy on Saturday, May 18 at 3:00 p.m. at the National Tennis Center. Selected participants will be called back for the following day.
