Hunter 5, Stuyvesant 0
Hunter won for the second straight match to remain undefeated to start the season.


Eleanor Roosevelt 3, Bronx Science 2
Eleanor Roosevelt won both doubles flights, including a 11-9 win by Madison Minieri and Melissa Weinstein over Divya Venkatesh and Lillian Flynn, to narrowly beat Bronx Science.


Beacon 4, High School for American Studies 1
Sofia Shen defeated Jordan Goldberg in the first singles match to help lead defending city champions Beacon.



Brooklyn Tech 5, Leon Goldstein 0
A 10-2 win by Brianna Yau and Mira Gupta at second doubles helped lead Brooklyn Tech to the victory and a 2-0 start to the season.


Midwood 5, James Madison 0
Abigail Seales and Anna Chapko edged Aleksandra Vartsaba and Veronika Tisko 11-10 at second doubles to anchor Midwood’s victory.


Hillcrest 4, Beach Channel 1
A closely-contested 10-9 win by Darla Moise over Alana Parag at second singles helped Hillcrest defeat Beach Channel.


Curtis 3, New Dorp 2
Despite dropping the two doubles flights, Curtis got wins from Brianna Shaw, Julia Holtermann and Lila Bruschi at first, second and third singles, respectively.


Tottenville 4, CSIHS/McCown 1
Nicole Kitchens notched a win over Alexandra Cordato at first singles to lead the Pirates.
