Tennis Stars, Celebrity Chefs Hit Miami for Citi Taste of Tennis
Monday marked a fantastic evening in Miami with the return of Citi Taste of Tennis at the JW Marriott Miami. The celebration was hosted by tennis legend Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and Chef Diego Oka, Executive Chef at La Mar by Gastón Acurio.
Grand Slam Cuisine: Tennis star Alexander “Sascha” Zverev turned up the heat on-stage during a cooking demo with Chef Diego Oka.
Servin’ It Up Citi-Style: Pro tennis players including Caroline Garcia, Frances Tiafoe, J.J. Wolf, Louisa Chirico and more (full list below) sampled incredible cuisine including Cebiche Chifa, courtesy of Diego Oka from La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Jamón Ibérico & Pan Tumaca, courtesy of Carlos Garcia from LEKU, Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Pop’s courtesy of Sindy Posso from Cielito Artisan Pops, and so much more. Throughout the evening, guests sipped on craft cocktails from Sipsmith Gin, bubbles from Zonin USA and a Love All cocktail from VOSS Water paired with a bedazzled bottle.
The Experience: Citigold guests kicked off the evening with a fireside chat featuring Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, hosted by Tennis Pro Nick Monroe. Upon arrival, guests were ushered into the event alongside their favorite tennis stars. As the night continued, guests enjoyed endless food from Miami’s top chefs, a 360° photo experience from PTPA, all while enjoying music courtesy of the talented, crowd-hyping DJ Mad Linx and dancing the night away to the #1 Bruno Mars Tribute Band, 24K Magic.
