Kecmanovic Comes Back To Stun Davidovich Fokina in Delray Beach

Miomir Kecmanovic captured the second ATP Tour level title of his career on Sunday, fighting back to defeat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 to win the Delray Beach Open title.
The victory on Sunday marked his 11th of the 2025 season, bringing him even with Alex de Minaur for the most on tour this season.
Kecmanovic responded after dropping the opening set by winning six of the seven games in the second set to force a decider. But even in the decider, he fell behind 2-5 and seemed to be on the brink of coming up short.
“It feels unbelievable to win after losing two finals before and then down 5-2, match points,” said Kecmanovic. “It was an amazing feeling and I’m so proud of myself.”
From 2-5 down and facing match points, Kecmanovic won the final five games of the match to stun Davidovich Fokina, and win the first hard court title of his ATP Tour career.
“It’s an unbelievable week,” he added. “I’ve worked so hard, I’ve done everything I could right. It didn’t happen for a long time, but I kept believing and I’m so happy to finally win another title.”
As a result of his win, Kecmanovic moves up to 42nd in the world.
Kecmanovic’s week was not finished, however, as he would later pair with American Brandon Nakashima to win the doubles title, defeating Evan King & Christian Harrison 7-6(3), 1-6, [10-3].
