Arredondo Wins First-Ever One-On-One Doubles Junior Prize Money Event

This past weekend, One-On-One Doubles hosted its first ever Florida Juniors Prize Money tournament, as some of the top players from across the state of Florida gathered in Bradenton, Fla. to compete for the $1,500 prize.

In the semifinals, Santiago Arredondo knocked off Caio Lacerda 4-2, 4-1, while Harrison Michalowski won 4-2, 4-2 over Diego Martinez. Arredondo would get the better of Michalowski in the championship match, winning 4-2, 4-1 to win the title and claim the prize.

“It was very impressive to see such good high-quality serve and volley skills exhibited by the participating juniors,” said Ed Krass, Tournament Director and the founder of One-On-One Doubles. “They were all so excited to play One-On-One Doubles! It was also nice to see some of the state’s top coaches attend to support our UTR event as well.”

The next One-On-One Doubles event will take place on Saturday, May 7 at the St. Petersburg Tennis Center. The Florida One-On-One Doubles Championships will feature $15,000 in prize money and consist of current and former ATP players. There is a VIP experience available for spectators which includes an exclusive clinic with tennis greats Jimmy Arias, Luke Jensen and more.
