Bronx Science Beats Stuyvesant in PSAL Action

The Wolverines of Bronx Science moved to 5-0 on the season as it defeated Stuyvesant 4-1 in a key Bronx/Manhattan A3 showdown on Monday afternoon.

Bronx Science, who lost in the city championship last year to Beacon, maintained its undefeated record thus far in 2018. Blake Frank won 10-0 over Arie Golubenko at second singles and Rod Rofougaran edged Albert Wan 10-8 at third singles.

Alexander Chiu and Paul Elghouayel notched a 10-2 victory in the first doubles spot and Christian Bobko and Neil He won 10-6 at second doubles to round out the Bronx Science wins.

Stuyvesant’s lone win came at first singles as Sujay Sharma beat Jonah Jurick 10-3.
