Bryan Brothers Hold at Number One

Bob & Mike Bryan, the American twins, will finish the year as number one on the ATP doubles tour for the seventh time. The two were only outranked in 2004 and again in 2008 since attaining their first in 2003. They won two Grand Slams this year along with five other titles.

The Bryan Brothers have set an overall record of 74 doubles titles in the Open-era. They have been ranked number one for 265 straight weeks and will break McEnroe’s record on Dec. 12 surpassing 270 weeks. Bob has said that "he’s such a legend and to achieve something like this won’t truly set in for a while" in regards to McEnroe’s feat.
