Defending City Champs Beacon Open Up 2016 Campaign With Win

Two-time defending New York City champions Beacon began its 2016 season with a 5-0 sweep of Eleanor Roosevelt on Wednesday afternoon. The Blue Demons were led by Ameer Hosain as the sophomore won 10-1 over Samir Srivastava at first singles. Ethan Leon won 10-0 at second singles as Beacon would go on to win all five flights.

Beacon’s title defense continues with a road contest against Hunter.
