Francis Lewis Beats Townsend Harris in Queens’ Showdown

In a battle between two of the better programs in Queens, Francis Lewis edged Townsend Harris 3-2 on Monday afternoon.
Alleyah Ally notched a 10-1 win over India Lott at second singles to give the Patriots of Francis Lewis one of its victories, and Rachel Chin won 10-6 against Jessica Wang at third singles.
To round out the three Francis Lewis wins, Seohee Lee and Sumintra Siengsutthiwong won 10-6 in the second doubles match against Diana Stachula and Rhea Singh.
For Townsend Harris, Rachel Zhang beat Kelly Chen 10-4 at first singles and Hope Ha and Neeharika Kotimreddy notched a 10-5 win against Gabriella Ng and Katelyn Chau at second doubles.
