One-On-One Doubles Returns To The Tri-State Area With Tournament in New Jersey
West Orange Tennis Club in New Jersey will host the event on October 11 with $1,000 in prize money on the line

Coach Ed Krass will bring his high-energy One-On-One Doubles Prize Money Tournament to the Northeast as the West Orange Tennis Club in West Orange, New Jersey will host the event on Saturday, October 11th.
The New Jersey One-On-One Doubles Championships will take place from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. with $1,000 prize money on the line. The tournament is played in a round-robin format where each player is guaranteed a minimum of three matches.
Each match is a Fast Four Set with a 12-point tiebreaker played at 3-3. Each group winner advances to the tournament’s single elimination knockout rounds.

As in all One-On-One Doubles Tournaments, Rock, Blues, Jam and Funk music is played during the tournament to add a festive atmosphere for the players and fans. Coaching and cheering is encouraged!
One-On-One Doubles is now entering its 21st year of hosting tournaments. UTR Sports sanctioned One-On-One Doubles, for tournament play, with 25 UTR One-On-One Doubles events held throughout the United States since 2021. Four events have been hosted at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Queens, home of the U.S. Open.
One-On-One Doubles is the crosscourt serve-and-volley singles game including the doubles alley. Players are required to serve-and-volley on both serves or there is a loss of point; half volleys are allowed. Players are awarded a two point bonus for winning volleys and overheads the opponent cannot touch.
