Queens College’s Nawghre Named ECC Scholar-Athlete of the Year

For the second straight year, Queens College senior Sharvill Nawghre was named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Nawghre was the Player of the Year in the conference while earning a 3.65 GPA, leading the Knights to its first ECC title since 2012.
He compiled a record of 7-2 in first singles play, including an undefeated record in the ECC, finishing the season as the third-ranked singles player in the Oracle/ITA East Region Rankings.
