Kevin Diao led the way for Bronx Science with a 10-2 victory at first singles
The defending PSAL 2A champions, Bronx Science, advanced back to the semifinals after posting a 5-0 victory over New Dorp on Tuesday.
Kevin Diao led the way with a 10-2 victory at first singles, while Ishaan Bhagat was a 10-0 winner at second singles and Sungjin Yun won 10-2 at third singles.
In doubles, Henry Bardey & Kenya Takaku won at first doubles and Elliot Blin & Leif Emery were victorious at second doubles.
Bronx Science will play fifth-seeded Cardozo for a spot back in the championship. Cardozo edged McKee/Staten Island Tech 3-2 on Tuesday.
The other 2A semifinal will see third-seed Brooklyn Tech face off against seventh-seed Stuyvesant.
In PSAL’s 1A division, top-seed and defending champions Leon Goldstein will play fourth-seed Edison in one semifinal. High School for American Studies, the second-seed, will play 11th seed Beach Channel in the other semifinal.
