Brooklyn Tech Boys Stay Undefeated; Grover Cleveland Girls Win Third Straight

The Brooklyn Tech Boys Tennis team continued its perfect season on Tuesday afternoon. The Engineers were led by William Trang, who defeated Georgiy Bryanskiy 10-0 at first singles.

The win moves Brooklyn Tech to 9-0 on the season. It will host James Madison in its next contest.

The Grover Cleveland girls won its third straight match on Tuesday, beating John Bowne 5-0 to improve to 7-1 on the season. The Tigers’ Shalina Calderon knocked off Jiaqian Huang 10-4 at first singles to set the town for Cleveland, who would go on to sweep all five matches.

The Tigers will look to extend its’ winning streak to four games when it takes on John Bowne again on Wednesday.
