Ed Krass, former head coach at Harvard University & Founder of One-On-One Doubles Tournaments, is bringing his electric style of prize money events to the Northeast as the 4 Seasons Racquet Club in Wilton, Connecticut will host a One-On-One Doubles event on Saturday, June 10.
With $2,000 in guaranteed prize money, players will compete in three no-ad, round-robin sets to qualify for the knockout rounds. This is a spectator-friendly tournament with coaching and cheering encouraged. Prize money breakdown for this tournament will be $1,000 to the Champion; $500 to Finalist; $300 for third-place and $200 for the fourth-place finisher.

One-On-One Doubles Tournament competition is the crosscourt serve-and-volley Singles game including the alleys. Players are required to serve & volley on both serves or there is a loss of point; Half volleys are allowed. Players are awarded a two-point bonus for winning volleys and overheads-hit out of the air- the opponent cannot touch.
The June 10 event will begin with a Special Doubles Clinic conducted by Coach Krass. The clinic is open to the public and will run from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Club members receive a special offer to be a part of the clinic.
"This Doubles Clinic will bring some college tennis intensity and electricity to the club level players rated 3.0 to 5.0 on the NTRP scale. Shot selection, shot placement and quick pressure tactics will be covered," stated Krass.
