Townsend Harris Reaches PSAL Quarterfinals

Townsend Harris edged High School of American Studies 3-2 to reach the PSAL “A” Division quarterfinals on Monday afternoon.

Justin Chen defeated Jacob Gottesfeld 10-6 at second singles, while Joshua Ashvil notched a 10-2 victory over Alexander Fraser at third singles. Townsend Harris’ second doubles team, Abhinav Garg and Philip Ha, helped clinch the playoff victory with a 10-8 win.

The Hawks move on to face Staten Island Tech for a spot in the semifinals.
